It’s Not a Wig, It’s Part of You
Hair loss. For women, it often feels like a cruel twist of fate. Alopecia in women can manifest in unpredictable ways, from diffuse thinning to patchy bald spots, leaving you feeling self-conscious and longing for the days when your hair was thick and full. You’ve tried countless shampoos, serums, and treatments, but nothing seems to deliver the results you crave. You’re not alone, and there’s hope.
Forget everything you think you know about wigs. A women’s hair replacement system from National Hair Centers is a meticulously crafted, custom-designed solution that integrates seamlessly with your existing hair. Each system is made of high-quality human hair (or a blend, depending on your needs), matched to your natural color, texture, and density on a lightweight, breathable base that mimics the scalp: a natural-looking hairline and part that’s virtually impossible to detect.
Our experienced stylists integrate the system with your existing hair for a secure, comfortable fit, bonded, taped, or clipped depending on your lifestyle. The result is a flawless head of hair you can style, wash, and treat just like your own. Explore all our hair loss solutions for women.
One Solution, Every Type of Hair Loss
Whatever the cause of your hair loss, a hair replacement system is customized to your unique pattern of loss, and to you.
Female Pattern Hair Loss
The most common type in women: gradual thinning that often starts at the part line. See our page on female pattern hair loss.
Alopecia Areata
An autoimmune condition causing patchy hair loss on the scalp and body. Learn more about alopecia areata.
Telogen Effluvium
Temporary, excessive shedding, often triggered by stress, illness, or medication.
Traction Alopecia
Loss caused by repeated pulling or tension, often from tight braids or ponytails.
Chemotherapy-Induced
A comfortable, natural-looking option during treatment, including medical wigs for women.
Scarring Alopecia
Permanent loss from scarring of the follicles. A system restores what treatment can’t.
What Women Ask Us Most
Do you have to shave my head for a hair system?
Typically no. In most cases, we can integrate the hair system with your existing hair without requiring you to shave your head. Our skilled stylists carefully blend the system with your natural hair, creating a seamless and undetectable transition.
In some cases, particularly if you have very little existing hair or prefer a closer fit, we may recommend shaving a small area of the scalp. This is discussed in detail during your consultation, and we always prioritize your comfort and preferences.
Will someone know I have a hair system on?
Unless you choose to tell them, it’s highly unlikely anyone will know. The natural-looking hairline, seamless blending, and comfortable fit make it virtually impossible to detect. Even in intimate situations, our clients report that their partners were unaware of the hair system until they were told. That’s the freedom to live your life with confidence and without fear of judgment.
How secure is it, really?
It’s attached, and it doesn’t come off until it’s time for maintenance services. You wash it, sleep in it, and swim in it. We have clients who have jumped out of airplanes with their hair systems. They are that secure. More than hair, it’s a confidence booster and a way to reclaim your sense of self, a topic we cover often on our blog.
